I found Runalyze as a place to go after Suunto's Movescount is going to quit.
What a surprise that I can import the .sml file directly into Runalyze.
Very happy that I do not have to use an app on a smartphone.
(Old man with bad smartphone finger motor skills).
As a Linux-user I have to find me a Windows computer to get my .sml file.
Not my favorite route.
Until now I used Openambit to connect to Movescount.
Openambit throws files from my Ambit into a folder on the harddisk of my Linux like Moveslink does on a Windows.
The Windows files end with .sml the Linux files end with .log
To import the .log files into Runalyze I convert them into .gpx using a script in Terminal.
It works! I can use my Ambit and Runalize free from Suunto and Microsoft!
Is there anybody who knows how to make this process simpler?
Not having to use Terminal to convert the .log into anything readable would be welcome.
Directly importing .log into Runalyze would be super!
I'm using Voyager 20.04, a Ubuntu-Xfce Linux-clone.
