Effective VO2max and calculations suddenly very off

As of two days ago, my effective VO2max and individual run VO2max estimates were suddenly quite off ... I had been at an estimated 53 or 54 with prognoses that closely matched recent race and time trial efforts (within maybe 5 seconds of true pace). I'm now estimated at 47, with estimated individual run VO2Maxes, race prognoses and pace ranges that all reflected that new estimate. This happened the day after I ran a 5k time trial and marked it in runalyze as a race. Was their a change in the formula? Did my account get corrupted?

Thanks, appreciate the quick reply - that first link did the trick. My correction factor had somehow changed from 1.0, which was giving realistic estimates, to 0.86, which was wildly out of line with my two time trials in the past two weeks. The new VO2max estimate claimed those two results somehow outperformed my fitness by around +5. So that is definitely unexpected behavior after entering a well measured result. I changed the factor back to 1.0, and everything looks realistic again though, so problem solved!
