Hi guys,

I have been struggling to install version 3.2.0 on my ubuntu server. The installation has been successfully completed and a user is created. However; when I log in the dashboard screen is loaded but immediately greyed out and the setting buttons in the top bar are not available. If I press F5, I shortly see the icons for the settings, tools and help which can be clicked if I move quickly but after a second the complete dashboard is greyed out again.

Feel free to have a look for yourself at http://koningoost.nl:84
username: test
password: testtest

When I check the /var/log/syslog I see this error:

Mar 5 19:04:07 runalyze [9273]: request.CRITICAL: Uncaught PHP Exception PDOException: "SQLSTATE[42000]: Syntax error or access violation: 1055 Expression #1 of SELECT list is not in GROUP BY clause and contains nonaggregated column 'runalyze.t.time' which is not functionally dependent on columns in GROUP BY clause; this is incompatible with sql_mode=only_full_group_by" at /var/www/runalyze-v3.2.0/inc/system/class.PDOforRunalyze.php line 271 {"exception":"[object] (PDOException(code: 42000): SQLSTATE[42000]: Syntax error or access violation: 1055 Expression #1 of SELECT list is not in GROUP BY clause and contains nonaggregated column 'runalyze.t.time' which is not functionally dependent on columns in GROUP BY clause; this is incompatible with sql_mode=only_full_group_by at /var/www/runalyze-v3.2.0/inc/system/class.PDOforRunalyze.php:271)"} []

I have troubleshooted as far as I could but got stuck here. Can you please check it out and let me know what I have done wrong?

Much appreciated,
Ingmar Oost

See https://docs.runalyze.com/en/latest/faq ... by-problem
So you would need to change your mysql configuration.

Ow wow, I cannot believe I missed that topic in the FAQ. Sorry for that.
I will have a go at it tonight and let you know the result.

Thanks for the quick, and helpful, reply.
