Weight Setting - Impact on Running Metrics

Hi, I am wondering if there is any negatives to tracking my weight in Runalyze? For example, in Stryd PowerCenter it is recommended that weight be set once and not changed (to 100kg for example).

I am in the process of losing weight and running more, and I update my weight loss every few weeks. Will changing weight impact any of the longer term metrics and trending information or can I continue to update my weight as I lose kgs.

Well it has the same impact like on Stryd Powercenter.
E.g. this metric is influenced by the weight https://runalyze.com/glossary/running-effectiveness

In the end the user has to decide what she/he wants.

Strange recommendation from Stryd.

It may influence those calculated values too much when entering the weight every day (but I'm not sure here), but I think it's absolutely useful to enter the weight at least once a week or similar. It's an important metric to evaluate if my improvements are because of all my training and just because I've lost a few pounds.

I noticed the RE value being unusual, it has me in the realm of elite world class runners, which I am most definitely not. Is this value picked up from Stryd and the 100Kg weight setting or calculated from Runalyze with my correct weight setting which I record properly in Runalyze?

It's calculated at Runalyze

As a runner with 30kg of weight to lose, would you recommend setting my weight to match Stryd (100Kg) or continue to track my weight accurately. I would like to be able to view progress over time using Runalyze and would like to avoid making any basic mistakes here.
