Website Freezing when Scrolling to the Bottom

For the past couple of months i've noticed a problem with the site where it becomes unresponsive when scrolling to the bottom of an activity. This happens on both apple mac and PC and on a variety of browsers: Chrome, Safari and Edge.

Has anyone else encountered this problem? It requires you to close the tab and reopen the site frequently.

I love the site and data and want to continue to be able to enjoy it without constantly having to close and reopen every time I scroll down too far!

Does that happen only for specific activities or kind of all? Do you have a lot of developer series from fit files or very long activities?

Re: Website Freezing when Scrolling to the Bottom

In terms of volume, I've got maybe 5/6 activities per week and have been uploading to Runalyze since November last year. Files are mostly auto-loaded from Strava, with the odd one manually loaded via fit file. Almost all are runs, 40-50 miles/week.

The crashing happens whether looking at the main dashboard or looking into an activity, short or long. It even crashes on my iphone. As long as I don't scroll down everything works perfectly but at some point when scrolling down the page loses all functionality, all hyperlinks are no longer clickable, you can continue to scroll but a few seconds later the unresponsive message comes up.

Is there a way to provide a log file so a developer can look at it?

Aha - it works fine in incognito mode - so something about 3rd party cookies is causing it to break

Could you take a look about extensions you have active in your browser? Because they are in most cases deactivated in incognito mode.

As we use almost nothing on third party stuff within the app (just for showing some maps, but they don't require cookies)

@wjackson When was the first time you had that problem? And which map you are viewing by default on the activity view?

Re: Website Freezing when Scrolling to the Bottom

@mipapo I think the first time i started seeing this behaviour was maybe February or March. I have no active extensions.

Default map is openstreetmap - but note that it was crashing on every screen, even on dashboard with no maps.

Some positive news, not sure if you've changed anything but it is not crashing for me today at all, and i'm not in incognito mode.

Will ping you if I see it again or spot any trends with it.
