Understanding "Easy TRIMP"

Mon 8. Oct 2018, 14:29

Hi,

Just by curiosity and trying to understand the metric behind the calculations, is the "Easy TRIMP" calculated with a simpler model than the ordinary ATL/CTL calculations (as I understood are a exponential weighted average).

Example;
- Today before an activity I had TSB +21% and easy TRIMP 128.
- After an activity with TRIMP value of 123 I got a TSB-11% and rest days 1.

By simple algebra I should have an easy TRIMP of +5 and positive TSB if just subtracting the TRIMP values.

Is there other factors than number of days and TRIMP values calculated in the ATL/CTL calculations?

I'm not 100% sure, but I think the easy trimp always refers to the next day.

Of course, that sounds like reasonable explanation. Thanks for your quick reply :)
