Elevation data could not be retrieved

Just a quick question; when I try the function "Correct elevation data" I got the result "Elevation data could not be retrieved."

Remove spikes in data sets?

Is it a way to remove or ignore points in a data set that is clearly wrong? E.g. if a gps lag makes a point or two as a spike way of reasonable values, it could be manually removed. A spike like this destroy max/min values completly, or you make you feel super fit :?
